Hey!! Hope you’re safe and well!
There are actually 3 reasons according to me:
Maybe educators tell the media that education should be free. But know this, nothing in the world is free. There’s a cost and demand for everything. You’re using Quora at this very moment. You’ll be using Instagram the next. You think they’re free? If you think so, you’re wrong!
“Social Media isn’t free. You pay. In time!”
To someone owning a social platform your data and time is money. Even the products that you use for ‘passing-time’ away aren’t free, how do you think that the better things in life(To me one of it is Education) will come for free.
Another thing is, when something is free it’s demand and usage increases and there’s no point of competition. Like I told you, Education in today’s world is business. So what’s the point of business if there’s no income and competition? So the top educators make sure they stay in the market and demand.
The final one is that. They would never make it free because People have the illusion that anything that is freely or cheaply available is low-grade when compared to something expensive. This is a really good advantage for institutions that are keen in robbing the parents’ money.
Would love to know what you think.
