Nothing in the roster tells me which students are low income, but the issues I see are on the students.
I know a lot of them are dyslexic, so I always encourage them to use colored pencils or highlighters to keep the numbers from moving around on the page. None of them do.
We have Supplemental Instruction and a Math Clinic available for tutoring. They don’t go.
I have office hours. None of them come. I get a few questions via email, but not as many as there should be.
I see a lot of answers about university support, but so far, I don’t see any about how to get the students who need them to use them.
