In spite of the many answers you got I have a unique story for you and others.
Years ago, after I got my degree in computers, from Haifa, Israel university, I volunteered to lecture to Israeli soldiers on Fridays evenings while they were on duty. One f these lectures was in the Golan heights to some 100 people from the armored battalion. They were young and the computers were young as well. They were listening all the lecture long, for about 1.5 hours. No question, no interference. The time for questions arrived. They said that they will never agree to depend/let their faith to the computer. Todays all tanks are computerized, especially the Israeli. Their performances, the Israeli, are most advanced/unbelievable.
My answer to your question: Nobody can imagine what the future will bring us. we see the computers but we don’t know what else these computers will avail. The armory of the tanks don’t stand the advanced missiles, especially the weld. to fight it Israel developed the “Wind shield” which is another system to protect the tank’s team.
There is still a lot to improve to protect against today’s weapons. The future will be much worse.
