This company’s going to go out of business. Just watch.
They’re too big for their britches, and this offering deserves all the criticism it’s gotten. You might as well sell me a refrigerator without doors.
If people haven’t seen this, the expensive, new monitor that’s so controversial costs four-thousand dollars.
It does not come with a stand.
You can put it flat on your desk, or glue it to your wall.
Or, you can buy the optional stand, which most monitors come with already attached (but not this one!), for only one thousand dollars. There’s also a cheaper, VESA adapter for $200.
If you want the Mac Pro computer too, you’ll spend TEN THOUSAND.
I’m typing this on an overpriced Mac Pro Desktop Computer that cost me three-thousand dollars, and doesn’t come with a keyboard. I borrowed money to buy it, because it’s what I need for audio work. I hope it works ‘til the day I die!
I appreciate the quality, fit and finish, and reliability.
But you have a good question. A thousand dollars for a proprietary foot is the kind of thing Sony would do. I think they’re out of their corporate minds.
