I bought an iPhone 7 Plus in June 2017. Its a matte black device with 256GB storage.
And, in Apr 2021 I am still using my iPhone 7 Plus. It still has the original battery, although the battery is at 69% capacity which means I am charging it at least 3 times in a day given the way I use it.
However, once the lockdown (due to the pandemic) opens up I intend to get the battery changed from an Apple authorised store and then continue to use it.
To be honest with everyone who is reading this answer, fast processors and fast phones should be used by only 2 types of people – those who work on matters of national security and gamers.
I realised that I use a phone for making calls, sending messages, sending and receiving emails, banking transactions, Netflix and Hotstar, searching something on Google, checking the weather and checking the world clock. None of these applications listed above would make any difference if the App opened 5 seconds later. So, no intentions of changing my iPhone 7 Plus any time soon.
The rear camera and the front camera are also amazing on the iPhone 7 Plus. Sure the new phones have better cameras but then again how many people use the phone camera for professional photography and how many of us use it for taking pictures of flowers, skies, surroundings, pets, friends and family and vacation pictures – all of which can be done very very well by the device.
The new battery on the iPhone 7 Plus would last more than a day.
Given that, yes I think Apple made one of the best devices in the iPhone 7 Plus.
