Yes, definitely Altcoins will survive, BUT 99% of them will die especially because they are just useless copies of other projects.
By the way, there are even more than just 3000 altcoins (plus many of those that are not “registered” on Coinmarketcap).
Look, that’s the Snapshot of coins in 2013. You might kmow some of them, but majority of coins that has been in top 10 and not listed on coinmarketcap back to those times are died already. It was all even before Ethereum and Doge 🙂
Altcoins are just alternatives to Bitcoin which CONSIDERED to be a better version. Of course we can’t rely on just “considered”, but some of them really better and faster. They just do different tasks better, have better functionality, cheaper, looking better (wallets) and other parameters.
Definitely there will be something accepted by everyone or almost everyone and will be used everywhere and it won’t be only Bitcoin or Ethereum.
