Hypnosis could make a perfect addition to your discomfort and stress management. Whether you are struggling with a traumatic past or anxiety in your life, self-hypnosis could help you in letting go of negativity, stress, and other similar issues.
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and body. You do not need to be deep in hypnosis to get great results. Everybody experiences hypnosis at least twice a day; in the morning when you first wake up, and at night a few minutes before you fall asleep. You may be hearing sounds, but you don’t care; you are going into a light state of hypnosis. Start a Global Life Coaching Business
The main goal of self-hypnosis is to help you in accessing your subconscious mind. It is easy to learn and to master. When a suggestion is repeated in the waking state and is believable to you, it will eventually become a part of you. That is why it is important to be aware of the words that you use throughout the day.
For example, instead of saying problems, say issues, and instead of pain say discomfort. Trying implies failure. You either do it, or you don’t.
- Find a Comfortable Spot
Choose a tranquil place, such as a quiet room where you are free of distractions for at least 20-30 minutes. This should not be your sleep time. The goal is not to fall asleep!
Find a comfortable seat or a bed. Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths. Slowly exhale after each breath. Imagine yourself at your favorite place. This could be a beach, a mountain, or wherever you feel comfortable. Imagine details such as temperature, trees, wind, sun, the color of sand, the sound of the ocean, etc. Online Life Coach Training program
Relax every part of your body, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Take your time.
- Use Your Imagination
If you are looking to reduce or control your discomfort, imagine a white light that has special healing power. Imagine this light is shining on areas of discomfort. Now, imagine that the light is quite healing. Keep the light on those areas and permit yourself to let go of uncomfortable feelings, as you become more relaxed. With practice, you will be able to go in and out of hypnosis easily.
When ready to come out of hypnosis, just take 3 deep breaths, and open your eyes.
Give yourself another 5 or 10 minutes before going back to your daily routine.
- Develop Your Hypnotic Suggestions
Give yourself simple suggestions, and stay in the present tense, such as \”I take three deep breaths, and I feel relaxed. I let go of my discomfort.\”
